The groundnut festival is colorful festival celebrated in Karnataka. The major celebrations of the festival take place near the Dodda Ganesh Tample in Banglore. The festival is celebrated in full swing also near the Bull Temple near the Basavanagudi in banglore. The celebrations of the festival takes place on the first Monday of the Kartika Month according the Hindu calendar. A lot of stalls of variety of groundnuts are put up during this time. People from around the state come to buy variety of groundnuts from the fair. Sellers of groundnuts are from different parts of the country.
